ALAMO – Dallas Cowboy Cornerback, Nahshon Wright visited PSJA Memorial Early College High to encourage nutritious and healthy lifestyle choices to student-athletes in celebration of National School Breakfast Week on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

The PSJA Child Nutrition Department in partnership with Dairy MAX hosted a two-week long competition amongst Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD’s four comprehensive high schools to increase the amount of breakfast served to students. 

As the winning campus, PSJA Memorial Early College High School students and staff were visited by Dallas Cowboys player Nahshon Wright to congratulate them and promote nutritious and healthy lifestyle choices. 

During the celebration, the PSJA Child Nutrition Department implemented ‘Grab n Go’ breakfast options, smoothies, and kicked off a coffee program that will be available at all high schools to encourage students to drink more milk.  

Nahshon was also part of a meet and greet, speak about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, and answered questions from a panel of student-athletes.
