PSJA Memorial Early College HS athlete earns 1st place at Cross Country meet

A PSJA Memorial Early College High School athlete recently earned 1st place at a Cross Country meet held Sept. 23 in Corpus Christi. Cruz Gomez, a junior, earned 1st place out of more than 350 runners in the competition. PSJA Memorial Early College HS athlete earns 1st place at Cross Country meet

According to the young athlete, he hopes to make this a great season.  

"Winning feels good because I am barely coming back into the season," Gomez said. "After this we are going to Houston. I want to hopefully win the District competition, then Regionals and from there make it to State."
