  • Athletic Requirements for 2020 -2021 School Year

    Due to COVID19 disruption, PSJA has waived the yearly physical exam requirement for those that had a physical on file for the 2019-2020 school year (unless further exam is needed). Those who did not participate and want to for the upcoming year will need to get a physical examination from their medical provider. What do I need to participate for next year?   • YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION IN JUNE

    PSJA ECHS Students & Parents, As the world adjusts to change, one thing that remains constant is the yearbook tradition. PSJA ECHS is working hard to ensure that the 2020 yearbook is printed and delivered to our students. Due to safety measures, we ask for your patience as we plan for a June Distribution. An update with a date, time and place will be announced when finalized. Limited copies will be sold for $75 at that time.     PSJA Early College Dual Credit Students Students we hope you are doing well and had a restful spring break. Even though you are not on campus you still need to continue your STC college courses online through distance learning. As per STC your classes will resume on March 30th.   • Kimberly Mendez selected as a Dell Scholar for the 2020 Class.

    PSJA ECHS Senior Kimberly Mendez was selected as a Dell Scholar for the 2020 Class. Nationally, 500 Dell Scholars are selected each year to receive a $20,000 scholarship with personalized, multifaceted support for the academic, financial, and emotional life challenges that may prevent students from completing college. The scholarship includes a laptop and a Scholars Resource Network that connects students and their families with resources to deal with stress, debt, managing child care, and life circumstance. Congratulations Kimberly we are so proud of you. Kimberly is attending the University of Texas at Austin to peruse a law degree.

  • Mighty Bear Band Color Guard ranked 2nd in State

    Special Congratulations to the PSJA ECHS Mighty Bear Winterguard who was awarded the Silver Medal at the 2020 Texas Color Guard Circuit's state championships. The Bear Color Guard competed last Saturday in Round Rock and is now the number 2 ranked Color Guard in the state of Texas. GO BEARS!!!

  • Caroline Trevino crowned Cover Girl

    Eva Carolina Treviño, was crowned 2021 Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show Cover Girl! She competed against 37 girls from around the valley, and she was THE ONE. She also got an award for having the best costume! We know she will represent PSJA ECHS and PSJA FFA well, help us congratulate her. We are proud of you Caro!
