PSJA Counts!
  • PSJA Counts!

PSJA ISD has partnered with the U.S. Census Bureau to support the #2020Census! As tri-city school district, we’ll be working with our partners to ensure that our community is accurately represented for the next decade.

According to the US Census website, the U.S. Constitution mandates that a census of the population be conducted every 10 years. Census statistics are used to determine the number of seats each state holds in the U.S. House of Representatives and inform how state, local and federal lawmakers will allocate billions of dollars in federal funds to local communities every year for the next 10 years.

By April 1, 2020, every home will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census. Once the invitation arrives, individuals will be able to respond for their home in one of three ways: online, by phone, or by mail.

    KEY DATES:

March 12, 2020 - Individuals can complete US Census online and via phone

    April 1, 2020 - US Census Day

July 31, 2020 - Last day to complete the US Census

Help us make sure our PSJA Family counts for the next decade!
