My name is Cynthia Saldaña. I have been working with PSJA ISD for 21 years. I taught elementary students for 16 years before becoming a counselor with GEAR UP. I then transitioned into high school, becoming an academic counselor/college advisor. My passion is helping my students in every area of their lives. I believe every one of my students has a potential to have a great future and I am here to guide them towards them reaching their dream.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree from UTPA in 1991 and a Master’s in 2008. I was a teacher for 10 years and I am currently completing my 10th year as a school counselor. My main focus is to make a difference in the students I serve by providing the most informative and beneficial service possible.
