About the PSJA Police Department
The PSJA ISD Police Department was first created during the 2019-2020 school year. The PSJA Police Department is under the direction of Police Chief Rolando Garcia. Their mission is to provide for the protection of lives and property, preserve the public peace, and provide needed community services with the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards effectively and efficiently.

Every PSJA student is prepared to participate, compete, and excel ina global society to foster multi-generational prosperity.
Mission
As educational leaders, the PSJA team is engaged and empowered to connect all students with innovative instruction, outstanding facilities, technology, skills, and social-emotional support while prioritizing health and safety for all – from early childhood through their chosen career.
As one PSJA family, we build on our legacy of academic excellence, renowned college and career readiness, biliteracy and extracurricular programs, and our multicultural heritage to ensure every student has the experiences and resources necessary to achieve the highest levels of success.

PSJA ISD Guardians
First launched the 2023-2024 school year, the PSJA Guardians are armed, trained officers dedicated to maintaining the safety and security of all 27 elementary schools. They closely collaborate and undergo joint operational tactics and planning with the PSJA Police Department.
These Guardians have undergone rigorous psychological evaluations, thorough background checks, obtained license to carry certifications, and completed extensive training. Their presence underscores PSJA ISD's unwavering commitment to prioritizing school safety and security.

ALL REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED (2) WORKING DAYS IN ADVANCE. CANCELLATIONS must be called in (1) day in advance.
PLEASE PROVIDE AN ACCCOUNT NUMBER AND NAME OF CAMPUS/DEPARTMENT THAT IS TO BE BILLED FOR THESE SERVICES.
