Energy Efficient Campuses

In 2023-2024 school year, the Energy Management Department launched the Energy Savings Initiative, a district-wide effort to promote energy conservation in a fun and engaging way.

Campuses competed every six weeks to who could reduce their energy use the most. The winning school were recognized with a custom banner to display on campus and a cake to celebrate with staff adding a little extra motivation and appreciation for their efforts.

at the end of the year, the campus with highest overall savings was named the Grand Champion and awarded a permanent trophy along with a traveling trophy that will pass on to the next year's winner. 

This initiative has helped raise awareness about energy use while encouraging both staff and students to take simple steps toward conservations. by turning sustainability into a shared goal and a little friendly competition, it's made energy savings a part of campus culture in a meaningful, memorable way
