Jaime Barboza

Jaime Barboza, Energy Manager
Jaime Barboza is a dedicated PSJA ISD alumnus, Class of 1985, with over 30 years of service to the district. He began his career as the Varsity Head Tennis Coach and Social Studies teacher at PSJA High School before transitioning into administration.
In 2004, Jaime was appointed Director of Textbook Department. Four years later, he joined the district's Energy Education Department, focusing on energy conservation initiatives. For the past seventeen years, Jaime has led the Energy Management department, helping PSJA ISD save more than $17 million through effective energy management.
His responsibilities include overseeing the district's building automation systems, auditing utilities, and providing energy conservation education to staff.
Jaime possesses a bachelor's degree in social studies from Pan American University as well as numerous certifications in Energy Management and Building Automation Systems.
