  • UIL MATH TEAM WINS 1ST PLACE

    Coach Alvaro Leal and Coach Fabian Quintana would like to congratulate the PSJA Bear Math team on their impressive victory this Saturday at the Mission UIL invitational meet. The Team won 1st Place team calculator and 1st Place team Math. Members include Alan Carrillo who scored the highest calculator score of the meet with a 315, Alma Carrillo who scored a 210, and Alejandra Cisneros who scored a 189. In the math event we had Alan Carrillo who scored a 294 and Vanessa Sanchez who scored a 294 and Michael Gomez who scored a 210. Congratulations to all the individuals who participated and Go Bears.

  • LADY BEARS SOFTBALL TEAM OFF TO A GREAT START IN SEASON

    Congratulations to the Lady Bear softball team for going 4-1 at the Mission Fastpitch tournament this weekend. The girls beat Tuloso Midway to win the club bracket championship 1-0. Way to go Lady Bears!

  • HOSA STUDENTS HEADED TO STATE COMPETITION

    HOSA had, Area competition at the McAllen Convention Center were members of the HOSA team competed in various competitions. Our students competed in various skills such as Public Service Announcement, Emergency Medical Team, and other health related topics where 4 of the students participating advanced to state. Kassandra Solis and Jason Portillo advanced to state in Sports Medicine, Kassandra placing first in the competition and Jason Portillo placing in second overall. As well as Ramiro Garza and Edgar Hernandez placed 3rd overall in (EMT) Emergency Medical Team as a pair. They had to go in a room and fix the scenario given to them with having unconscious patients in the room where they would find out how to get the patients in stable condition. Way to go HOSA TEAM. OFF TO STATE YOU GO. #PSJAProud

  • PSJA HEB COMMUNITY CHALLENGE

    PSJA is participating in the HEB Texas Community Challenge once again this year. We need your help and support in registering, so PSJA can win 1st place this year. In previous years, we have obtained 2nd or 3rd place. Information about the Challenge is already available on the PSJA District Webpage.
