  • Congratulations Christian Rivera

Christian signed a Letter of Intent to play football with East Texas Baptist University in Marshall Texas. While playing for the mighty Tigers, Christian plans to major in education and after fulfilling my time at ETBU, he will follow in his father’s footsteps and enter the coaching field. During Christians four years of high school, he was a three-year Letterman in track and football. During his junior year he was the leader in rushing yards and touchdowns and led the Sharyland Pioneer football team to it’s only district title within the school’s four years of existence. This allowed him to be named Honorable Mention running back for the 31-5A school district. As a senior for the PSJA Bears, Christian was one of the leading rushers on a team that had one of the biggest turn around in PSJA history. Along side with his teammates leading the way, this time he was named Honorable Mention running back for the 31-6A school district.
