How was your Early College experience?
I feel grateful for my experiences at PSJA as I was able to learn about my self as an individual, actor, and friend. I don’t think I can ever repay PSJA for everything it has done for me. I know that if I did not have taken this opportunity I wouldn’t be where I am today. Despite having countless numbers of people telling me that I couldn’t do it or that I would never do it, PSJA believed in me.

What has Early College done for you?
The PSJA Early College Program has done wonders for me. I have been able to take so many college classes in order to finish two years of college by the time I graduate high school. It has also given me memories and friends that I will cherish forever. Many students tend to think the Early College process isn’t for them or that is too much work, but honestly, it’s so much fun and super easy if you just put time into it. I’ve been in more than five clubs and I also go every Saturday to compete in UIL and TFA events, but I was still able to accomplish so much in the PSJA Early College program.

What would you say to your PSJA Family?
Thank you for allowing me to compete at the national level and for giving me the tools I need to succeed. I know as teenagers we can be very rebellious, but I know that we all appreciate everything PSJA does for us. Please keep on supporting your bands, and theatres and choirs, and orchestras because just like sports, the fine arts are just as successful. As Mr. Jon Taylor has said countless of times, “PSJA is home to the best fine arts departments in the state of Texas.” As the lights begin to go down and the curtains are slowly closing on my senior year, I know that my PSJA family will forever continue to show their love and compassion after high school. Thank you for being my second loving family. It was through your support that a star was born and revealed to the world.
