• The Texas Education Agency allows for TMIP to coordinate STAAR out-of-state testing with receiving states that have a current Interstate Migratory Student Cooperative Agreement (IMSCA). The IMSCA is an agreement between the Texas Education Agency and receiving states in which the receiving states’ educational governing body allows their LEAs staff to be trained as Test Administrators by TMIP to administer the STAAR assessments.

TMIP follows the Texas testing calendar, however, TEA may allow additional testing days for unforeseen circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
