What is a Wraparound Resource Specialist (WRS)?​

    • Wraparound Resource Specialists (WRSs) are bachelor or master's degree licensed professional Social Workers through the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council and adhere to the National Association of Social Workers' (NASW) Code of Ethics.
    • WRSs are an integral link between school, home, and community in helping students achieve academic success.
    • WRSs explore internal and external partnership options to support our students and families with mental health intervention, crisis management, and support services.
    • WRSs enhance social functioning, self-determination, collective responsibility, and an overall well-being.
