Social & Emotional Learning (SEL)
Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which individuals acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
Wraparound is a process of working with students and their families to build and enhance social emotional growth by connecting them to resources that meet their basic needs to succeed in school, careers, and life.
PhilosophyWe believe in the need to serve every student, parent, and our community in any time of crisis by committing to provide systems of support. We will collaborate to assist families in need with a comprehensive plan to connect non-academic resources that will improve the well-being of all students.
