• Family Engagement Plan

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD is committed to develop strong relationships with family, school and community partners to improve student achievement and increase opportunities for families to become actively engaged in their child’s learning. PSJA ISD will provide educational and support services that will empower and strengthen parents and community relationships.  Recognizing the fact that parents are students’ first teachers, PSJA ISD will implement a family engagement plan to achieve and maintain high levels of family involvement and positive family attitudes towards education.  The district will establish partnerships with community organizations, social service providers and post-secondary institutions to ensure that parents and their children are the district’s primary focus.  PSJA ISD will take a two-generation family approach by providing resources, trainings and education services in English and Spanish through the following activities.
