The City of San Juan and San Juan EDC will be hosting the Noche de Paz Festival 2014. The event will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2014 located at San Juan Municipal Park, 508 W. Bus. 83-San Juan from 12PM-10PM. There will be food vendors, arts & crafts vendors, beer barn, Santa’s Workshop, carnival ($20 all you can ride), (pre-sale at the Parks & Rec. Dept. $15), snow at 3PM ($5 until it melts) & a parade at 6:00PM (line-up at 4PM) beginning at City Hall.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD is the recipient of the 2014 Platinum Leadership Circle Award from the Texas Comptroller’s Office for financial transparency. This is the first time that the Comptroller’s Office awards the new Platinum designation to entities that meet an even higher standard of financial transparency.
EDINBURG - Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD in collaboration with Doctors Hospital at Renaissance (DHR), South Texas College, Region One ESC and South Texas ISD have announced a new pilot program starting this spring to provide students interested in a nursing career the opportunity to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing through a nursing dual enrollment pilot program, the first of its kind in the nation.
Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD students now have access to a new clinic opened just for them through a partnership between the school district and Doctors Hospital at Renaissance (DHR). The PSJA ISD School Based Health Center located at 700 W. Ridge Rd. in San Juan across from PSJA Early College High School, serves PSJA students ages 3 to 18 and pre-school aged siblings.
