  • SENIOR ADRIANA GARZA NAMED GATES MILLENNIUM SCHOLAR

    PSJA Thomas Jefferson T-STEM ECHS is proud to announce that Adriana Garza has been selected as one of the 1,000 Gates Millennium Scholars for the GMS Class of 2015. We commend her on her strong leadership, community service and academic achievements that contributed to her selection as a Gates Millennium Scholar. This accomplishment is especially notable in context that more than 52,000 students applied, making this year’s the largest and most competitive group of candidates in the program’s history.

    On April 10, 2015, Junior Estefania Barboza competed at the HOSA State competition in "HOSA Happenings" category. She will be competiting at the National level on June 22, 2015 in California. Best wishes and Good luck!

  • CONGRATULATIONS FOLKLORICO MATLAN FOR RECEIVING A DIVISION ONE RATING!

    The Folklorico Matlan competed in the 3rd Annual Rio Grande Valley on Saturday, March 20, 2015 at Edinburg North HS. The team, consisting of 27 members, performed "Bautismo En Sinaloa." The team was also selected as one of the top four teams to perform in the Gala Performance alongside of Conceptos Entidad Dancistica who sponsored the event.

  • ENVIROTHON TEAM TRAVELS TO KERRVILLE, TX

    The 2015 NCF-Envirothon competition was held on April 10-13 at Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX. T-STEM students competed against 20 other Texas teams on current issue topics of Urban/Community Forestry.
