  • Texas Bluebonnet Voting & Celebration 2017

    Any 6th grader that has read a minimum 5 books from the Texas Bluebonnet Award List 2016 - 2017 will be invited to a voting session at the library on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 2:15 PM

  • Blind Date with a Book

    RYMS students come by the library and go on a Blind Date with a Book. You never know what you'll find! It might be the best book you've ever read or a brief encounter that made you laugh. Deadline: Friday, February 10, 2017.

  • An All Girl Lock In

    RYMS Cheer Leaders will be sponsoring an All Girl Lock In on November 18, 2016 from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Raul Yzaguirre Middle School Gymnasium. The cost is $15.00. Food will be provided plus a concession stand will also be available through out the night. A permission slip is required. See Ms. Torres or Mrs. Alejandra Castillo for more details.

  • Angel Rodriguez Cobos - PSJA A.R. Master's Degree

    Congratulations to 8th Grader, Angel Rodriguez Cobos for earning his PSJA A.R. Master's Degree for reading 1,000,000 + words. He also earned a Summa Cum Laude distinction for having a 95% + average. Angel is the first RYMS student to earn this degree.
