Community Challenge

About the Challenge!

As part of our PSJA Family Health & Wellness initiative, PSJA ISD in collaboration with the cities of Pharr, San Juan, and Alamo is once again taking on the annual It's Time Texas Comm unity Challenge sponsored by H-E-B. The fun 8-week competition unites and mobilizes schools, businesses, organizations, community members, and mayors toward the common goal of transforming their community’s health. This year the Challenge will be taking place from Jan. 8 through March 3, 2024.

PSJA ISD has engaged in the statewide competition for several years now, earning 1st place in the large school district category consecutively in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

The Challenge is a great opportunity to grow even closer as a school/district family, plus it helps us make healthy choices and teach our students to do the same.

How to participate:

Register at www.ittcommunitychallenge.com now until March 3, 2024. Make sure to click YES to School District Challenge (select Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD)and include the name of your school.
